D. Work Experience
•2016-Now:
oI am the co-founder of "Shahnameh Boutique ", a German brand for boutique hotel and F&B, which is currently under standard development and approval process.
oI started F&B development with "Rational AG" that seeks old and traditional recipes and examines it with “Self Cooking Center" for commercial - Modern Kitchen applications. This project tries to bring back old recipes to the modern kitchen using modern cooking technology. Rational AG is a world market/technology leader in the file of hot food preparation for commercial kitchens. This project has started since 2016.
•2014-2016.
oI was the head of the training department in Homa Hotel Group (HHG) responsible for planning and delivery of the professional development of hotel staffs up to the managerial level and delegates from other hospitality brands. HHG has been providing national programs across Iran.
oI worked in close collaboration with Mr. Rob Beltman (associate prof in Hotel school the Hague) to develop Marketing Communication (MARCOM) subject of training.
oIʤve done all negotiations, which concluded to the MoU between HHG and Hotel school the Hague. This corporation was the first one between an Iranian school and a world-class hotel school after 40 years (signed in 2015).
oIʤve organized and planned South Asian sea food culinary training from Malaysia in Tehran to train approximately 130 trainees (hotel, restaurant Chefs and amateur trainees) in 2014.
oI was the head of Homa Hotel Education Centre (which included Training center and Homa Applied Science University).
oI was the Human resource development director at HHG.
oI was the head of technical and quality control committee at HHG.
oI was a board and committee member of Iran 5-star hotel upgrading.
•2011-2012.
oI trained 140 hoteliers from abroad in HELP University - Malaysia in 2011 and 2012 in which I was the main organizer and planner for all outline under leadership of Prof. Dr. Anjelko Simic as well as hotel inspections.
•2010-2013.
oI used to be the seminar committee member in HELP University, Kuala Lumpur in which I was responsible for training and development of the international hoteliers.
•2008-2015.
oI worked as the general manager for SEWAC Travel & Tours with the following primary responsibilities:
Overseeing of staffs/departments
Monitoring of the market movement to keep promoting new competitive packages
closely working with a group of hotels to develop long range relationships, planning new strategies/policies for the company to increase revenue/income and also to achieve position in the market for all related businesses
Signing MOU with 11 chapters on April 2009 with HUC (HELP University College) to expand their business into Iranian market and facilitating their accreditation
Signing MOU with Ink Media a Canadian company on July 2009 to produce and set up plant, distributing and marketing new affordable computers and laptops for Middle East
Organizing Mega Tour plan as an idea created on 2007 to attract Middle East end users (Tourists) and worldwide market to experience more online travel package purchasing
•2007-2008.
oI was the business advisor for SEWAC Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd in which I was responsible to design the packages and business strategies.
•2006-2007.
oI worked as the general manager at Royal Khmer Airline, in which I contributed in:
Planning and leading team work, connecting to the marketing network in South Korea.
Planning promotions and dealing with agents, organizing and monitoring staff/departments. We revived an almost bankrupted airline and expanded their flights to South Korea from Cambodia. As a result of our effort, the flights achieved the full load for two flights per week from Inchon to Siem Reap.
Expanding flight frequencies from 2 to 3 per week.
Finalizing contract for first diving Tour from Middle East in Redang and facilitating with MI specialist in Night Rox.
•2006-2009.
oI acted as the business development director in:
Mind Flow Technologies Sdn Bhd, newly known as EATC Malaysia Sdn Bhd in which I was planning and meeting investors for tourism related projects in Malaysia and Middle East. Signed agreement for 50 rest area between Quantum Business Sdn Bhd and ITDC (Iran Tourism Development Cooperation).
Mahan Air in which I was responsible for managing the Tehran-Kuala Lumpur charter flights.
Middle East Tour Group in Malaysia and Singapore with over 800 pax per group.
I was the airline advisor at Air Dream South Korea Company based in Seoul, South Korea in which I was managing package deals on golf and diving tour planning to Malaysia. I was also assessing the feasibility of new flights from ICN to JB.
•2005-2006.
oI was the general manager at Star Plaza Hotel, Siem Reap. Star Plaza Hotel also known as Royal Dragon Hotel took over from Star Royal group to expand their business from 3 to 4.5-star category.
oDelivered month-on-month increased occupancy rates of 3% to 25% through better utilization and services of marketing and direct presentation to agents and achieve 95% occupancy and above after 6 months onward and required at least 2 months prior booking.
oI managed a team of 180 staffs and empowered through training and coaching to provide incentives to guests to increase retention and revenues, which has also improved staff performance and morals.
•2002-2005.
oI was the general manager at Star Royal Hotel, Phnom Penh & Siem Reap in which my primary responsibilities were:
Directly overseeing of the hotel operations including, Lodging, Food & Beverage, Recreation, Engineering, HR Management, Front office & Reservations and Finance & Accounts.
Closely working with Group Operations Manager to develop and implement long range planning and strategies.
Providing strong leadership and communication to staff regarding objectives and strategies, policies and procedures and service standards to ensure complete guest satisfaction and profitability.
Improving business to the stability level for current and future to open second property in Siem Reap.
Establishing own guests networking in origin with providing membership started from South Korea and achieve more than 1200 members within 9 months.
Becoming major favorite hotel for Korean, Japanese and British market. (Hana Travel, Tour Guide Travel in Korea/ HIS in Japan & express Worldwide Travel in UK).
Teaching the team leading skills to unite and motivate staff by creating a positive, consistent and fair work environment for all team members, with open communication, strong recognition programs, equitable wages, and career development opportunities.
Analyzing/developing operations handover document to the company owners and operators of the hotels.

oI worked as the private assistant for the Cambodian Principal Advisor to the Ministry of Tourism
